The triple alpha process for stellar nucleosynthesis of carbon.
The most important reaction in the Universe for the existence of life, and it’s on my scrawny right bicep . All the carbon atoms in the ink, in my skin, and in fact every atom in me apart from hydrogen, was forged in a dying star. We are stardust, as you can’t quite see due to the curve of my arm; you also can’t see the emission of a gamma-ray photon after the second step - hey, it’s not my fault that space is three-dimensional!
After close to two years, my outer space sleeve is finally finished! Including space clouds & dust, planets, meteor showers, galaxies, Orion, Aries, tons of stars and a tiny little UFO.
